R3VHC is open to all Veterans, Military Personnel, and First Responders. There is no cost to the participants and no requirement to be diagnosed with an OSI or PTSI to apply.

The program is five days and we offer camps for all Female and all Male participants.

We use a recognized curriculum focused on basic horse care, riding, and stable management. We ensure one-on-one and group peer support, assistance, and feedback from experienced facilitators.

Participants sleep in a rustic barn loft, use outdoor toilets, and pump water. Ranch life experience includes cleaning stalls and paddocks, splitting firewood, and cleaning equipment. Beverages are served throughout the day and the meals are fresh, hot, and hearty.

Participants leave R3VHC with the knowledge and confidence to continue with an equestrian lifestyle and network of other like-minded persons, through the R3VHC alumni, to help them along the way.
